Growing up with Yorkies and Chihuahuas, I like to think I had no idea of what a REAL dog was. And then came the Field Spaniels.

In early 2008 I brought home my two littermate boys, Dylan and Tucker. In April 2011 I brought home my new girl Tess. They all bring me so much joy! Please explore this website to learn more about them and their accomplishments.

Huge thanks to Sarah W. Evans of Wood Duck Field Spaniels for giving me these amazing companions, these canine loves of my life. Sarah has been a great friend and has imparted her life-long love of Field Spaniels to me; I never knew how contagious loving a Field Spaniel could be...

In 2008 I became a member of the Field Spaniel Society of America (FSSA), the National Parent Club in association with the American Kennel Club. Beginning with the First Quarter of 2010 I assumed the position of Newsletter Editor with the FSSA to revive this important communication tool that had been left undone for a few years.

Beginning in 2009, I became a founding member of the regional specialty club The Mid Atlantic Field Spaniel Club, and I serve as an inaugural member of the Board of Directors. This club is in its early stages and we are eager to continue our great progress and support of Field Spaniel activities in the Mid Atlantic states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.

Dylan, Tucker, Tess (and now Trouble and Pumpkin the puppies) keep life fun and ever interesting. The impish ways of the Field Spaniels make me laugh daily. Their sense of self-worth is remarkable. Their height is perfect for counter surfing.
